Sally Fallon Morell is a chef, nutrition
researcher, homemaker and community
activist.
She is also the author of Nourishing
Traditions:  The Cookbook that
Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition
and the Diet Dictocrats. This
well-researched, thought-provoking
guide to traditional foods contains a
startling message: animal fats and
cholesterol are not  
villains but vital factors in the diet,
necessary for normal growth, proper
function of the brain and nervous
system, protection from disease and
optimum energy levels.

Fallon is  founding president of the
Weston A. Price Foundation

JOEL SALATIN

Joel Salatin is a fulltime farmer in Virginia's
Shenandoah Valley.
A third generation alternative farmer, he
returned to the family farm fulltime in 1982
and continued refining and adding to his
parents' ideas which they initiated in 1961.

Joel passionately defends small farms, local
food systems, and the right to opt out of
the conventional food paradigm.

He holds a BA degree in English and writes
extensively in magazines such as Stockman
Grass Farmer, Acres USA, and American

profiled on the Lives of the 21st Century
series with Peter Jennings on ABC World
News.
